Background and Education
I grew up throughout the diverse and culturally rich boroughs of New York City. My journey in medicine began at SUNY Downstate, where I gained vast clinical exposure and experience in one of the busiest public sector hospitals in NYC, Kings County Hospital. This experience extended through various tertiary and community settings, and at an academic University Hospital. During my training, I published several peer-reviewed research papers related to therapeutic brain stimulation technologies, traumatic brain injury, and rehabilitation medicine, and made presentations at national meetings.

- Procedures: Cervical and lumbar axial epidural injection, axial facet joint injection, neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation), fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound guidance for needle placement, minimally invasive lumbar decompression, vertebral augmentation (kyphoplasty), basivertebral nerve ablation, interspinous and sacroiliac fusion, intrathecal pump placement and refill, percutaneous discectomy, endoscopic rhizotomy, botulinum toxin injection, sympathetic ganglion injection, peripheral/intra-articular joint injection, tendon sheath/bursa injection, medical acupuncture, trigger point injection, EMG/nerve conduction studies.

My most recent clinical and research interests include interventional pain medicine, with a focus on neuromodulation and minimally invasive spine procedures. My background in healthcare, research, business, and engineering allows me to think outside the box and approach medical problems with innovative solutions. My passion lies in applying comprehensive multidisciplinary principles and techniques to achieve the goal of healing.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy DIY projects, volleyball, biking, travel, parks, nature, music, mentorship, and advocacy.
